It is estimated that nearly 1 out of every 15 homes in the United States has an elevated radon level. About 1 in 3 homes in Ohio have enough radon to pose a SIGNIFIGANT risk to the occupants.

You can not predict the levels based on state, local, and neighborhood measurements. Do not rely on other radon test results taken in other homes near you to estimate the radon level in your home. Homes that are next to each other can have different indoor radon levels. Testing is the only way to find out what your home’s radon level is.
